Recently a friend was telling me how hard it was to figure out what to wear when she was shown clothing in magazines that she felt were not really wearable for everyday clothing. I am sure many of you look and say either, wow that is too expensive, or I couldn't wear that with my body, or maybe it just is too out there for me to consider. I want to show you just how to adapt the trends to your wardrobe.
When you are reading your magazines, pull out pages of what you like and make a file. Then when you are done with your fashion magazines for the month, edit your pictures to what really resonates with you. When you are down to your favorites, look at the photos and figure out what you really like from that look. Maybe it is a color, or an applique, or a type of pant. Circle what it is you like and then go shopping. Below is a photo from the Bottega Veneta line. There are many details from this outfit that I like.
