MyFashionCareer was started to provide opportunity to young people aspiring to work in the fashion industy. The fashion industry has many job opportunities and openings that lead to creative, rewarding careers. However, often times, people get deterred from their dreams, because they see the challenges, but not the goals.

Too many people say, “It’s not what you know, it’s who you know” and that’s just wrong. It helps to know the C.E.O. of the biggest firm in your industry. But it’s not necessary, in fact it might be better to know no one and make a fresh imprint.

In fashion, as in any industry, the harder you work, the smarter you work, and the more determination you have, will ultimately lead you to more success and happiness. The fashion industry is fast paced and always changing, it needs creative people who can adapt to changes in style, technology, and the economy.

If you want to be successful in the fashion industry, and in your fashion career this is what you need to do: Work Hard, Work Smart, value the people you meet and know what mutual benefits can come from your relationship. You need to be constantly learning and trying to improve your skills and abilities.
